Foi no escritório da nossa casa, na rua de São Mamede ao Caldas, onde já não vivemos, para dar lugar aos turistas, que nasceu a página Lisbon Art Memories e esta vontade de divulgar a cidade. Estávamos em 2014, Lisboa começava, lentamente, a recuperar da crise, e a nossa vontade de fazer parte da mudança e partilhar a cidade, materializa-se.
É pois, o nosso propósito, dar a conhecer Lisboa, a sua história, a sua cultura e as suas artes. Sentirmos Lisboa, descobrirmos os seus segredos, as suas coisas, as suas ruas e becos, escadinhas, travessas, calçadas e praças, os seus bairros, as suas colinas e as suas gentes. E poder mostrá-la, também, aos que estão ausentes, lá longe, mas que podem, assim, reviver a cidade, ou aos que estão a descobri-la pela primeira vez.
Sonhar, correr livremente pelas ruas, andar de elétrico, ver os azulejos, os palácios, as igrejas e os conventos, os jardins e os museus. Descobrir a luz e as cores que se refletem na arquitetura do casario que desce para o rio. No fim, teremos a oportunidade de ver a alma de Lisboa? Talvez! É o que queremos! Mas, será a descoberta ou a redescoberta de cada um, fica o desafio.
Da nossa parte, comprometemo-nos a partilhar a cidade que nos encanta e nos faz acordar todos os dias, calmamente, sem pressa de chegar a lado algum.

It was in the office of our house, on Rua de São Mamede ao Caldas, where we no longer live, to make room for tourists, that the Lisbon Art Memories page and this desire to promote the city were born. It was 2014, Lisbon was slowly starting to recover from the crisis, and our desire to be part of the change and share the city, materialized.
It is therefore our purpose to make Lisbon known, its history, its culture, and its arts. Let us feel Lisbon, discover its secrets, your things, its streets and alleys, stairs, sidewalks and squares, its neighborhoods, its hills, and its people. And to be able to show it, too, to those who are absent, far away, but who can thus revive the city, or to those who are discovering it for the first time.
Dream, run freely through the streets, ride the tram, see the tiles, the palaces, the churches and convents, the gardens, and museums. Discover the light and colors that are reflected in the architecture of the houses that descend to the river. In the end, will we have the opportunity to see the soul of Lisbon? Perhaps! That's what we want! But it will be the discovery or rediscovery of each one, the challenge remains.
For our part, we are committed to sharing the city that enchants us and makes us wake up every day, calmly, without rushing to get anywhere.
